Expectations of Healing

People who suffer from “long Covid” (and many other life challenges) may experience a loss in ability of tasks they could do before, but not after. Some who once might have run 5Ks without effort now find themselves winded at a walk around the block.

As we journey through healing it’s important to remember that God does not want us to judge our healing “success” by comparison to the past or to others. And it is important to remember the deep tissue work God offers when we suffer losses.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

- 2 Corinthians 12:9

What are ways you are tempted to question God when your feelings suggest things are not as you think they should be?
