Indefinite Waiting

Holy Saturday is a liminal day of waiting. We know that Sunday is coming, and our wait will be temporary, but Jesus’ disciples did not understand what had just happened, or what was coming next. For them, this day was full of grief, loss, and failure.

Reflect and journal about a time of confusion or hopelessness, when you were uncertain of the future, and uncertain of how soon things might become clear. In such experiences, what might God want for us?
